What this website collects

Nothing directly. There is no sign-up, no account, no newsletter form and no contact form that submits to us. We set no cookies of our own and store nothing in your browser.

When you tap Plan my stay, nothing is sent to us. The button opens WhatsApp with a message already written for you. Nothing reaches us until you choose to send it.

What our host records

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like every web host, their servers keep short-lived technical logs of requests — the page asked for, an IP address, a browser type, a timestamp. We use these only to see roughly how much traffic the site gets and to spot problems. We do not attempt to identify anyone from them, and we cannot combine them with anything else we hold.

Other services that see something

Three, and only in specific circumstances.

Maps. Pages with a map load their tiles from MapTiler at the moment you view them, which means MapTiler's servers see your IP address. This happens only on pages that show a map.

WhatsApp. If you tap through to WhatsApp, you are then in WhatsApp, and Meta's own privacy terms apply to that conversation. We have no control over what Meta collects there.

Our editing tool. A login script for the tool our team uses to update this site currently loads on every page. It sets nothing and does nothing unless a staff member signs in, and we intend to limit it to the pages that actually need it.

What we hold when you enquire

Whatever you send us — usually your name, the dates you have in mind, how many people are coming, and anything you tell us about the trip. If you email or call instead, the same applies.

We use it to plan your stay and to talk to you about it. Nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you enquired.

Payments

No payment is ever taken on this website. There is no checkout and no card processing here. Payments are arranged directly with us by UPI or bank transfer, and those details sit with your bank and ours — not with this site.

How long we keep things

Enquiry conversations stay in WhatsApp and email for as long as they are useful — a guest who came once often writes again, and it helps to remember the trip. Booking records are kept as long as we need them for our accounts.

If you would rather we deleted your conversation and details, write to us and we will.

Children

Children are welcome as guests at both stays, but this website is not aimed at them and we do not knowingly collect anything about a child. Bookings are made by adults.

Asking us about your information

Write to reservations@buranshstays.com and ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. A person will read it and reply. There is no form to fill in.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting more than this page describes.
