Made For

Family & Friends

The trip where you spend time with your loved ones. Big breakfasts, unhurried trails, slow afternoons, a bonfire everyone remembers differently. Reunions, celebrations and shared adventures.

Why This Works

Some trips are about ticking off a list. This one isn’t. A family reunion, an old friend group finally in the same place, three generations under one roof for a few days. What makes it work isn’t a packed itinerary, it’s having enough space and time that nobody has to perform or plan. Big breakfasts nobody has to rush. A trail that the fast walkers and the slow walkers can do together, because nobody’s timing it. An evening by the fire that goes on longer than anyone expected, because there’s nowhere else to be.

We’ve hosted groups of every size and shape. Three generations, old college friends, a birthday crew of twelve. Rooms open up into shared spaces rather than keeping everyone behind closed doors. So the trip becomes something you do together, not four people who happen to be staying at the same address.

What a Stay Looks Like

Mornings start slow. Chai in the balcony before anyone’s fully awake, then a big breakfast that people drift into over half an hour. Days can be as full or as empty as the group wants. A hike to Deoria Tal or to the river for those who want it, a slow morning with a book for those who don’t, and nobody has to explain their choice. Meals are shared, usually outdoors when the weather allows, and the evening almost always ends the same way. A fire, too many stories, and someone insisting they’ll go to bed after just one more.

How We Help

Tell us how many people, how many days, and what the occasion is - a reunion, a milestone birthday, a trip that’s been “we should really do this” for years. We’ll help with room configurations for groups big or small, meals that work for different appetites and ages, and a pace that suits everyone rather than the fastest person in the group. If a bonfire needs a birthday cake smuggled in, we’ll do that too.

Stay base

From our stay in Sari Village

A surprisingly cosy four-room stone and mud home, nestled 500 metres up the scenic trail to Deoria Tal. Built the Pahadi way, the rooms stay naturally warm when it's cold and cool when it's not. At its heart is an open lounge that looks out across the mountains. A place for long conversations, quiet mornings, board games, books, and unhurried cups of chai. Step outside and you'll find village walks, forest trails, birdlife, and some of Garhwal's finest treks. Stay a little longer. The mountains reward patience.
